My best friend loved this movie so much she bought it, then she realized it is terribly sad in a strange way for her and can not bear to watch it again. It is still one of her favorite movies, and one of my faves too.

Andy Goldsworthy

I am hoping to help restart a program to watch art movies at my faculty every week. I really want to kick it off with Andy Goldsworthy's movie: Rivers and Tides. He does beautiful, quiet works.

Things to look forward to

I'm really excited for winter break. I want to hang out with one of my favorite people and watch Flight of the Conchords. I want to sit down in my couch and read Blankets from start to finish. I've wanted to do these two silly things (which everyone else seems to have already appreciated) for ages. I hope I can do them this break.

Apples to Apples

Totally unrelated to the picture. I played Apples to Apples during Thanksgiving break. It's awesome fun and super easy to play. I figured out the strategy, you have to simply recognize what type of thing people look for when judging. I went for most random connections that made me laugh as I read them. Other people rationalize. See who judges and pick your card accordingly.
